Ann Cleeves will be appearing at Ponteland Library to talk about her latest crime novel 'Silent Voices' - featuring Inspector Vera Stanhope, which will be published later in February.
The new ITV series 'Vera' will be broadcast later in the spring, with Vera played by Brenda Blethyn. 'Silent Voices' is set in Tynedale, and some of the TV series was filmed in and around Prudhoe and Wylam.
